The ICT Teacher is responsible for planning and teaching classes in the computer labs with a clear objective which follows the course outline/curriculum. This role also takes a responsible for assessing and monitoring student learning progress. He/she must teach and use a variety of teaching and learning strategies that make learning fun yet challenge those who need it and support those having difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
Model the organization’s values and associated behaviors in and out of the classroom.
Prepare lessons plan that meet individual students’ needs, interests and abilities;
Give instructions in clear, calm and facilitate class activities;
Monitor and assess students to ensure they meet learning objectives;
Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
Ensure a safe learning environment in the computer labs for all students
Assist to develop CCF ICT curriculum, resources and textbooks;
Be involved in ICT teacher team meetings to identify e-learning and ICT opportunities or solve problems in using e-Learning and ICT activities;
Provide professional development related to computer and ICT skills for teachers and other education staff as required;
Maintain excellent communication with School Manager in all matters relating to the ICT program and student wellbeing.
Give advice and talk to individual to students who have not followed classrooms agreements and expectations. Suggest ideas to help them be better students.
Complete daily attendance according to CCF procedures;
Take all necessary precautions to protect, maintain and return all equipment and materials.
Attend meetings, teacher seminars/trainings as required.
Strive to maintain and improve professional competencies as outlined in the CCF Professional Standards for Teachers document.
Maintain a professional standard of dress, befitting the role of teacher;
Be punctual for all lessons, meetings and responsibilities.
Maintain teaching resources by well preparing/ordering ahead of time to maintain stocks;
Act as a contact person for reporting IT issues to the IT helpdesk.
Requirements
Ethical and able to demonstrate CCF values in day-to-day work;
Bachelor degree of Computer Science or related field;
Certificate of Teaching Methodology is preferred;
At least 2-year experience in teaching computer/ICT;
Knowledge of computer management network and maintenance;
Knowledge of ICT Program planning and project management;
Good English both speaking and writing;
Good communication, friendly, confident;
Be honest, trustworthy, patient, respectful and helpful;
Genuine enjoyment for helping the students and passion for teaching.
Working Hours: 7:30am-12:00pm and 1:30pm -5:00pm, Monday – Saturday.
