Summary of Duties:

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: 

  • Acts as main driver for the mission providing transportation, delivery and errand services to all mission programs.
  • Arranges for vehicle maintenance and upkeep.
  • Provides administrative support services to the mission, following established mission and departmental policies.
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

Area of Selection:

This selection process is open to external applicants legally residing in Cambodia at the time of appointment and to mission employees occupying a term position, including emergency employees. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Cambodia.

  • A secondary school diploma or higher. An acceptable combination of education, training and experience will also be considered. 


  • Fluent in Khmer (written and spoken)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) 


  •  Experience in providing administrative support services
  •  Recent* experience in client service in a time sensitive environment 


 *”Recent” is defined as within the last five (5) years


The Rated Requirements are part of the essential qualifications and are relating to knowledge, abilities and competencies. Methods of assessment for rated requirements may include, but are not limited to, a written examination, an oral interview online, pre-recorded or in-person, role-play, practical tests, presentations and/or psychometric assessment.

Asset Qualifications:

Preference may be given to candidates who meet the Asset Qualifications. Where applicable, candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet any asset qualifications.

  • Work experience in contracting and procurement 
  • Work experience in event planning or project management 

Operational Requirements:

  • Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, 08:00–17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00– 13:30 on Fridays 
  • Must be available to work planned overtime on a regular basis and overtime on short notice on occasion. 
  • Annual leave may be restricted during busy periods due to operational requirements

Conditions of Employment:

Conditions of employment must be met or complied with before being appointed to a particular position, and are to be maintained throughout the employment while being the incumbent of this position.

- Valid work authorization: Ability to obtain and hold a valid work authorization covering the entire employment period.

- Security screening: Obtain and maintain a Reliability Status (security level) which includes a criminal and credit background check from the Government of Canada covering the entire employment period.

- Valid drivers license: Must have a valid Class B Cambodia driving license with no points deducted and a clean driving record.
