I. INTRODUCTION
Cambodian Journalists Alliance Association (CamboJA) is a local membership association registered with the Ministry of Interior since late December 2020.
Our mission is to promote access to information and press freedom, strengthen the professionalism of journalists, and support their livelihoods. CamboJA works assertively with all stakeholders to build a strong journalist and media professional community in Cambodia, focusing on capacity building, advocacy, strengthening the support base, and building an enabling environment for independent journalists.
CamboJA shall procure/commission an audit of the global financial report based on the calendar year 2023.
II. THE SCOPE OF WORK AND PURPOSE OF THE AUDIT
CamboJA is looking for a qualified audit firm that is registered with the Kampuchea Institute of Certificated Public Accountants and Auditors (KICPAA) to conduct the global financial audit report for the fiscal year 2023 (01 Jan 2023 to 31 Dec 2023) for submission to donors (Modified Cash Basis Report) and the Accounting and Auditing Regulator (ACAR) in Cambodia (Cash Basis Report), including the Khmer version of the reporting.
The audit firm must ensure ability and quality assurance to review CamboJA for ACAR’s compliance and it is in accordance with the organization’s accounting records and donors’ rules and requirements that are mentioned in the agreements, and that CamboJA’s policies are complied with.

The Management Letter,
The audit reporting shall include a Management Letter that discloses all audit findings, as well as weaknesses identified during the audit process. The auditor shall make recommendations to address the identified findings and weaknesses. The recommendations shall be presented in priority order and with a risk classification. Items that may be addressed in the management letter include the following, noting that this is not an exhaustive list.
IV. Auditing fee and Budget
The audit professional service fee will be charged in one service package fee including: VAT10%, miscellaneous expenses or other.
CamboJA has one office location at # 19, St 388, Sangkat Tuol Svay Prey I, Khan Boeung Keng Kang, Phnom Penh.
The estimated budget for the fiscal year 2023 is around US $ 650,000.00 with more than 10 donors providing support.
