POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Sponsorship Operations Officer will manage and coordinate to ensure all sponsorship correspondences and special queries from sponsors and support offices in accordance with Global child sponsorship standards and sponsorship systems requirements; and in way that enables Registered Children, their families and sponsors to nurture meaningful relationships, and strengthen donor service excellence.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- All Gift Notification (GN) donations are managed and processed in compliance with child sponsorship standards, business process and systems.
- All Sponsorship correspondences are delivered and processed with high quality and in compliance with child sponsorship standards, business process and systems.
- The two special mailings (Christmas cards and Annual Progress Report) are processed and delivered to support offices and/or sponsors in timely manner.
- All special queries form Support Offices and/or sponsors are appropriately responded. WV JDPDQ Template_270520 5. Support in building capacity for AP staff and community volunteers/partners on sponsorship technical aspects to successfully implement Child Sponsorship in the Area Program.
- Assurance the high quality of all sponsorship correspondences in order to enhance sponsorship integrity
- Good relationship with all relevant stakeholders (AP Manager, Regional Manager, PC for CESP, Support Office Team, Global Centre Team, etc.) are built and maintained.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in Management / Business Administration / Social Science
- At least 3 years of experience in a NGO sector technical role in a developing context
- At least 2 years’ experience in managing child sponsorship
- At least 2 years’ experience in sponsorship systems (Horizon SSUI – Desktop & Mobile)
- Experience in translation of English to Khmer and vice-versa
- Experience in working with children in a development context
- Very good understanding of sponsorship business processes, good knowledge of information management and human relations.
- Strong problem solving, interpersonal, communication and people management skills
