Position Summary
Overall objective: Overall Objective: Enhance sustainable and energy-efficient practices in Vietnam and Cambodia's textile industries by leveraging technical knowledge on heat electrification technologies, engaging relevant stakeholders, and suggesting actionable heat solutions.
Specific Objectives:
1. Support WWF and brand partner’s energy teams on understanding different heat electrification technologies. Guide both teams on the potential of various heat electrification methods in the textile sector through document reviews and consultations.
2. Attend interviews with key industry stakeholders: Engage with technology suppliers, factories, and industry experts, gathering and sharing valuable insights on heat technologies.
3. Review site assessment reports: Examine reports that focus on alternative heat technologies, ensuring they align with the consultancy's electrification insights.
4. Formulate strategic recommendations: Suggest actionable strategies for WWF, garment brands, and tech suppliers, emphasizing the uptake of heat pumps, electric boilers, and solar solution
