WaterAid Cambodia was established in 2014 and has ambitious plan to work with a range of stakeholders to support the sector aim of reaching universal access to sanitation and water in Cambodia by 2025. WaterAid Cambodia’s program is based on influencing and make change happen by supporting the government to strengthen system that lead to sustainable service, inspiring the next generation of WASH leaders by building human resources, especially women and promote collective action and building bridges between sectors by using innovation and adaptive approach.

Finance Intern will work under direct supervision of Finance Coordinator with guidance from Operation Manager to ensure the overall procedures and accounting services operating smoothly and effectively.

Positio Summary
Finance Intern will work under direct supervision of Finance Coordinator with guidance from Operation Manager to ensure the overall procedures and accounting services operating smoothly and effectively.
Key accountabilities
- Prepare journal and payment vouchers;
- Review staff advances and clearances to ensure the completeness of fund request, settlement, as well as supporting documents prior to payments for staff or suppliers (invoice, receipts, request form, quotations…etc)
- Handle and maintain petty cash and record it in the daily cash book;
- Ensure the timely payment of expenses, bills and other related matters;
- Manage filing system for financial documents
- Support Finance team on posting vouchers into SUN accounting system
- Contact suppliers on payment disbursement
- Support Operations and Program team on logistic and administration when needed such as workshops/training/meeting arrangement, disbursement DSA to participants and other tasks if necessary.
- Other tasks will be assigned by supervisor
