Key Responsibilities:
  • Regularly update the Core Training curriculum (Child Protection, Child Participation, and Basic Human Trafficking Training) materials according to the current context.
  • Conduct the Core Trainings such as Child Protection, Child Participation and Basic Human Trafficking
  • Training to Chab Dai staff and Members accordingly the training delivery schedule.
  • Support/ Facilitate to participant who attended the core training to continue sharing the lesson to their colleague, authority, community and children.
  • Conduct follow up and refresher sessions and gather the outcomes and feedback from the Chab
  • Dai Coalition members and partners.
  • Provide general support and consultancy to members where appropriate through communications or face to face meetings.
  • Assist the project team with the identification of gaps and trends within human trafficking and abuse
  • in Cambodia, and make connections between new training resources and member programs.
  • Attend relevant meetings with stakeholders and share important information, updates and resources with members and partners.
  • Undertake field visits regularly to coalition member projects and other relevant programs.
  • Cooperate with the NGO Coalition on the Rights of the Child (NGO CRC) as the first step for raising
  • the children’s voice to the Government.
  • Cooperate with the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation (MoSVY) and the Cambodia National Council for Children (CNCC) for putting on the Child Protection System/ meeting.
  • Cooperating with related Government Department, by co-training with them to provider core training topic such as Basic Human Trafficking (Co-training with Anti-Human Trafficking Department, MoSVY) and Child Participation Training (co-training with CNCC, MoSVY).
  • Occasional support to the members on the intervention of cases of child abuse.
  • Supporting the Needs Based and Forum Coordinator.
  • Facilitate of charter pre-consultation meeting.
  • When required, facilitate the Charter Assessment develop improvement action plan.
  • Conduct regular follow-up’s and support for any Charter members based on their self-assessment.
  • Attend and participate in Coalition Meetings, team retreats, and monthly staff meetings.
  • Produce the core training report and evaluation.
  • Contribute the report such as monthly, semi-annual, annual, events, member feedback meeting, conferences and other relevance event reports.
  • Any other given tasks upon request of Coalition Project Manager

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology or any other related degree.
  • 2 years’ work experience, including 2 years of experience in the INGO/NGO sector with a focus on anti-human trafficking / Human Rights.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in both English and Khmer, including report writing.
  • Understanding of current social issues in Cambodia related to human trafficking and exploitation.
  • Strong problem solving, conflict management and critical thinking skills.
  • Well organized, able to establish work priorities and self-motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills with Cambodians and expatriates.
  • Ability to work sensitively with people from a variety of cultural, social and organizational backgrounds.
  • Good administration and computer skills (Microsoft and Google).
