Position: Research, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning, and Monitoring (REALM) Coordinator (Save the Children)__Deadline:28-September

The Research, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning, and Monitoring (REALM) Coordinator will support SCI in designing, implementing, and managing REALM systems, frameworks, and activities for the country office (CO). S/he will be supporting project teams and partners to roll out the Save the Children REALM system and ensure effective REALM implementation with high quality per agreed REALM plans.

S/he will provide capacity building across projects staff and partners in REALM per SCI’s procedure e.g. Project Reporting, Information Management, and Evidence (PRIME), database design, data collection, data entry and analysis, quality benchmarks, project learning agenda to align with the Learning Country Assessment’s plan of action. S/he manages data collection, verification, analysis, and reporting on the project statistics and indicators at both project and SCI global levels, including Total Reach, Quality Benchmarks, Common Approaches, Project Accountability, and Implementation of Projects Learning Agendas.

The REALM Coordinator will support SCI and projects in conducting needs assessments, evaluative studies, research, and reviews, including planning, data collection, analysis, reporting, and promoting evidence uptake for programming. S/he will be engaged in the new project development process.

S/he will facilitate REALM reporting for relevant projects, including M&E reports against indicators, Baseline and Evaluation reports, and other lessons learned documentation. S/he will widely share these reports with project teams and partners to inform project design and implementation and build evidence for the projects’ and CO’s learning agenda.

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or master’s Degree in social sciences, Development Studies, and related fields with good knowledge and skills in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and monitoring and evaluation

Essential

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in monitoring and evaluation if holding a Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of working experience in Research and M&E will be considered if holding a Master's Degree.
  • Good knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of monitoring and evaluation in development work.
  • Working knowledge of statistical applications (SPSS/STATA) for data analyses, including advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge and skills in designing, managing, and implementing mobile applications, particularly Kobo Toolbox for data collection.
  • Experience in conducting assessments, research, and evaluative studies.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Strong analysis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills will be considered a definite advantage.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Khmer.

Desirable

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and solve problems independently.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to provinces and willingness to abide by SC’s Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct.

Contract length: Unspecified Duration Contract (UDC).
