POSITION DESCRIPTION:
CAST Project will focus its production and enterprise development activities with market development initiatives focused on larger urban markets (e.g., Phnom Penh, Siem Reap) with growing mid- and high-end consumer market segments willing to pay quality premiums. Most direct beneficiaries will be aquaculture producers selected from an estimated 20,000 producers that sell fish, including those that graduated from extensive or low-input systems to semi-intensive systems during other aquaculture development programs. Potential project beneficiaries and collaborators will also be selected from an estimated 35 hatcheries and nurseries, 2 large feed mills, 210 input suppliers, 245 village livestock health (extension) workers, and 35 financial institutions. The project will also work with aggregators, wholesalers, and SMEs involved in input supply and processing, and with the full range of aquaculture market actors and government staff working in Phnom Penh. The project will work in five provinces with project office in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
This position is responsible for providing transportation services to support project staff in a timely and safety manner. Responsibilities will be assigned by the Admin Assistant and Line Managers in all project target areas as needed in order to make sure that activities are carried out smoothly and ensuring that vehicles are maintained and ready for use, among other duties.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing transportation services to support project staff timely and safety manner which is assigned by the Admin Assistant and Line Manager to all project target areas as needed,
- Regularly schedule for car service maintenance and reports
- Immediately report on any accidence of vehicle and staff to supervisor and admin.
- Compliance to safety and security of the WVI-C policy and the traffic laws.
- Coordination of logistics for project activities in field or business visits
REQUIREMENTS:
As part of the World Vision International-Cambodia mandate requirements for new staff, all candidates who are offered jobs are required to produce Local Police Clearance Certificate prior to the date of joining the organization.
- Certificate of High School
- At least 2 years of experience in 4-wheel driving (car) for NGOs, the Private Sector, or any sectors
- Technical / driving license.
- Ability to maintain vehicles and drive on rough rural roads as well as city roads.
- Must be willing and able to travel to provinces at least 70% of the time.
