ISF OVERVIEW
ISF Cambodia (ISF) is a Cambodian based charity with over 17 years of experience using education and sport to change lives. Our aim is to make a fundamental and lasting change in the lives of some of the poorest and most disadvantaged children and their families in Cambodia.
Our Education Programme focuses on children in the slums of the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh, whose extreme poverty means they have never gone to school or have had to drop out. We provide them with a quality education and healthcare whilst working closely with their communities to lift entire families out of poverty. Through our grassroots Football Programme, we work directly with 4,000 youth, promoting equality and providing opportunities to those marginalized by poverty, disability, HIV and gender.
POSITION OVERVIEW
ISF Cambodia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design and Communications Officer to join our team. As the Design and Communications Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the visual and communicative identity of our organization. Your responsibilities will revolve around combining your creative prowess with strategic thinking to effectively convey our brand's message, mission, and values to both internal and external audiences. This multifaceted role requires a balance between innovative design skills and exceptional communication abilities.

Accountability and Relationship:
- Reports to ISF's Head of Communications
- Design and Communications Officer is part of Communications and Marketing team. She/he will work closely and collaboratively with ISF’s Marketing and Communications team, as well as other departments and stakeholders, to ensure a cohesive and impactful marketing strategy. Here are some key aspects of your accountability and relationships within the organization.
Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Develop visually engaging graphics, illustrations, and layouts for digital and print materials using tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Edit compelling videos that tell our story, showcase our projects, and highlight our achievements using Premiere Pro.
- Support content creation for social media platforms, website, newsletters, and other communication channels.
- Collaborate closely with the Communications team to understand project requirements and ensure the visual content aligns with our messaging.
- Brainstorm creative ideas and concepts for various communication campaigns and initiatives.
- Assist in managing and organizing visual assets libraries.
- Translate content from English to Khmer and vice versa to cater to our diverse audience.
- Be eager to learn how to use AI tools effectively to increase efficiency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
- Portfolio showcasing your graphic design and video editing skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to content creation.
- Being able to adapt to production processes and continuously seek to improve them.
- Excellent command of English and Khmer languages, both written and spoken.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
- Previous experience working with a team at a design agency or marketing department.
- A genuine passion for ISF's mission and dedication to making a positive impact.
