Damnok Toek is seeking a qualified person to assist the Monitoring, Evaluations, and Learning (MEL) Department. This position aims to improve the Damnok Toek MEL system and ensure its good implementation, data analysis and quality reporting.
Roles and Responsibilities
Data Collection
- Provide training and provide ongoing support to program staff in Poipet, Kep, and Neak Loeung on data collection, analysis, and timely reporting of indicators and other MEL activities;
- Support project/program staff to accurately document, organize and capture data;
- Perform regular field visits to ensure the quality and accuracy of data collected.
MEL Strategic Development and Implementation
- Participate in developing the MEL framework (a Global Logframe and Annual Planning tool) for Damnok Toek with support from the Head of Programmes;
- Participate in the revision of all data collection tools and databases for all programmes with the team to ensure these are optimised according to Damnok Toek’s projects and donor requirements as well as the needs and workload of the field team;
- Contribute to internal semesterly reviews to assess progress and guide programmatic strategies needed to steer programmes on track.
Reporting
- Responsible for accurate log frame reports;
- Perform simple data analyses for reports;
- Provide accurate data to the finance and fundraising team for reporting purposes;
- Support the production of quality presentations for in-country donor meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and or experiences in a similar position;
- Previous experience in grass-roots organization is plus;
- Dedication and a willingness to learn;
- Experience in designing MEL tools, database, data analysis, conducting surveys, and reporting is a plus;
- Fluency in written and spoken Khmer and English;
- Computer literate–MS Office, Outlook Suite, Internet;
- Strong facilitation skills;
- Dynamic, honest and positive attitude and works well in a team;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Respect the protection policies and no prior offences against children.
