The Oxfam CLV Cluster is comprised of three countries,  Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam. Our Vision for the CLV Cluster is to increase our impact on the ground, strengthen our ability to influence policy changes at country and regional levels, raises income and saves costs.

All programs and projects in the CLV cluster are implemented effectively in contribution to the CLV Cluster Strategy 2022-2024 and country strategies in each country. All programs across Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam are collaborating with each other to achieve the common CLV goal and objectives.

TEAM PURPOSE: The CLV Cluster is newly created as part of the Oxfam global change process.  The CLV Cluster links programs, people, funding resources and knowledge in three Mekong countries to optimise delivery of our Global Strategy Framework and the Asia Regional Strategy, and to achieve operational efficiencies.

THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME: Oxfam offers an internship programme for young Cambodian graduates who are passionate about Oxfam's mission of working with others to overcome poverty, suffering and injustice.  Selected interns will have an opportunity to watch and to learn how to perform some basic finance tasks in the organization. Intern will also receiving regular coaching and mentoring on technical financial management and behavioural competencies. After the internship, they will gain essential office and finance skills and will gain invaluable working experience that benefits their future employment. Intern will also have an opportunity to take number of training opportunities in Oxfam. They will be coached by Finance Coordinator and other members of finance team.

AREAS OF LEARNING:

•     Document and archive all financial and accounting documents.
•     Support to the team during donor audit, internal audit, external audit and learn how to find relevant supporting documents for the auditor; filling back all the documents after the audit.
•     Prepare requisitions, payment request and bank transfer process;
•     Other bank related, visiting bank, and Tax if need.
•     Photocopy/scan finance documents to get approval through Box folder.
•     Other area of business operation in Oxfam such asHR, IT and Admin’s works.
•     Learning Oxfam policies and procedures related to the designated areas.
•     Others tasks based on the need of Intern.

 
SKILLS AND COMPETENCES

•     University graduates, preferred graduate with background in finance or administration;
•     Able to speak and write English
•     Good computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, Ms Outlook, PowerPoint);
•     Good communication skills;
•     Strong motivation for learning about development work;
•     Cambodian National only
