Responsibilities
- Support the management and implementation of centre strategies and action plans;
- Assist and facilitate regular preparation of project proposals, budgeting and reports;
- Conduct fieldwork, organise engagement and deployment of enumerators and data entry and evaluate quantitative and qualitative data as specified by team leaders;
- Support research design and contribute to the literature review, analyses and report writing;
- Write up interview notes and meeting minutes, and facilitate general administrative support to the research team;
- Liaison with projects’ partners, stakeholders, and government counterparts
- Provide administration and finance service, keep centre records;
- Support effective communication, knowledge building and knowledge-sharing events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree is an advantage) in development economics, trade and regional cooperation, and development, or related fields.;
- 1 - 2 years of relevant research and administrative experience;
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to perform quantitative analyses and experience with Excel and other data management packages. Qualitative research skills are also desirable;
- Keen interest in development economics, trade and regional cooperation, and social research;
- Strong organisational and administrative skills;
- Good coordinating and teamwork skills
- Good communication skills in Khmer and English, both oral and written;
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
- Willingness to learn and to carry out fieldwork involving in-country travel to rural areas.
