We are seeking a dynamic and professional Cambodian to fill the following position:
Position Tittle: Sponsorship Officer
Reports To: Senior Sponsorship Officer
Staff supervision: N/A
Salary: 957-1045 USD
Location base: Phnom Penh (with frequent travel to the fields)
Position summary
The purpose of the position is to contribute to the management of
quality sponsorship activities by establishing/maintaining and assisting
annual communication and training plan to help continue the
relationship between individual supporters and the community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor holder in social science/communication or relevant qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experiences in related field of development is desirable
- Excellent understanding of sponsorship function and its linkages
- Ability to monitor, familiarise with, and use of child data base management system
- Experience of working on Child Sponsorship programmes
- Familiar with development and human right issues in Cambodia
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently
- Ability to produce and develop quality reports and case studies
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent interpersonal communications skills (verbal and written)
- Fluency in written and spoken English and native / national language
- Strong coordination, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Have a good understanding of AA’s strategy and rights based work.
- Knowledge of/and or experience of the Not For Profit, NGO and/or Development sectors
- Be innovative and creative
- Work on own initiative with minimum supervision and to stay on task.
- Knowledge on child sponsorship programmes is an advantage.
- Knowledge of child rights, SHEA and Safeguarding policies
