Samaritan’s Purse is a non-denominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Samaritan’s Purse began working in Cambodia in 2003 to help land mine amputees. Since that time, the projects and offices have expanded to address a wide range of issues from education and clean water to family stability and human trafficking, health and livelihood.
Samaritan's Purse has a history of impactful direct intervention programming in Pailin that has contributed to improved access to safe water sources and livelihoods for many households, as well as reduced the labor exploitation and labor trafficking through shared awareness.
Bee family Project
The Bee Family project provides technical support and start-up capital to vulnerable families in Pailin to engage in sustainable livelihood activities that will generate income and offer an alternative to unsafe migration. The project will identify families that are vulnerable to unsafe migration due to a lack of work opportunities and debt, being led by women or elderly members, or facing illness or disability. The project will provide them the opportunity to engage in income-generating livelihood activities that will improve the economic status of the household and decrease their susceptibility to labor exploitation and unsafe migration.
Bee Family Project is working in Sala Krau district, Pailin Province. After the project provided beekeeping skills to 30 families, Project will continue to provide them with beehives and beekeeping supplies to each family.
Samaritan’s Purse is inviting all interested Hardware suppliers to submit their bids for the following materials:
