Clear Cambodia is a Christian local NGO that has been implementing the projects under the aim of water and sanitation. The current mission is to help rural Cambodian citizens sustainably improve their health through increased access to safe water, sanitation facilities, and to a healthy environment. All of the work is done in collaboration with community leaders and local authorities. Presently, Clear Cambodia has implemented projects in nine provinces Svay Rieng, Prey Veng, Kampong Thom, Kampong Chhnang, Banteay Meanchey, Preah Vihear, Oddar Meanchey, Takeo and Siemreap.
We are looking for 01 (One) qualified candidates to fill the position of School WASH Program Coordinator, based in Phnom Penh.
- Main Responsibilities and Duties:
- To assist school WASH program manager to manage/monitor daily implementation of School WASH Program in targeted areas.
- To ensure that they abide by the rule and policies of the Clear Cambodia.
- To set up monthly plan of action for implementation efficiently as expectation in collaboration with school WASH Program team, and other relevant staff.
- Technical support to school WASH program coordinator, school principals and school teachers in sure that all schools receive a good quality of construction and installation such as school Filter, Hand Washing Stations and school latrines and garbage kiln.
- To work with the program/ project staff to promote effective use of the WASH facilities; School BioSand Filter, Hand-Washing, latrine, garbage kiln and MHM lessons as standardized use as a whole organization in consultation with school WASH program manager.
- To provide WASH training, Hand- Washing with Soap, Safe Drinking Water, Safe Sanitation, MHM to DoEYS, and school principals, including evaluation Pre- test and Post-test, and in cooperation with (DoRD), DoEYS, and other relevant people.
- To set M&E plan for monitoring / visitation to sBSF, HWS, school latrine, and ensure that they are good in using and maintaining properly of all products.
- Requirements:
- Must have experience with community work or WASH program.
- Bachelor Degree or comprehensive training courses in health ministry.
- Able to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point), e-mail and Internet.
- Able to speak and write some English.
- Commitment to Clear Cambodia’s core values and mission.
- Must be willing to travel to remote targeted communities.
- Must be willing to drive a motorbike when on field visits on some occasions.
- Good interpersonal skill, be patient and flexible.
- Transparency/ Honesty / Integrity.
