Our organization
Enfants d’Asie is a recognized public utility association certified by IDEAS label and established in 1991. Its aim is to help underprivileged children in Southeast Asia towards a better future for themselves and emerge from poverty in a sustainable way.
Enfants d’Asie is currently supporting more than 10,500 children from poor families in Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines and Vietnam. Enfants d’Asie provides them with a global accompaniment: from schooling to professional integration, including basic needs and moral support.
The association provides underprivileged young people with access to school and a stable career, thus ensuring a change in the situation of the child, her/his family and of the community, while contributing to the country's economic situation.
Enfants d’Asie in Cambodia
Since 1991, Enfants d'Asie has been working in Cambodia in collaboration with the Cambodian Ministry of Social Affairs and Ministry of Education.
Through access to education, Enfants d’Asie wants to enable the most disadvantaged children to build their future and become responsible actors in their country. We therefore want to fight against everything that forces these children to stop school and give them the same chances of success as others through access to quality education. In order to do this, we are committed to working in collaboration with the families and involving them in their child’s educational project.
Enfants d’Asie Cambodia (EAC), composed of a qualified team of 30 employees, currently supports 700 children:
The mission offered is based in one of our children’s residential center: Borey Niseth (the city of Students in Khmer). The center welcomes young adults from of first and second year of university, and some students of ONG's partners, and is run by a team of dedicated staff: one director and one security guard.
Borey Niseth center opened its doors to shelter underprivileged young who are orphaned or come from poor families.

- In its own centers: two children’s residential care institutions and one student
- center
- Community based children, promoting their access to schooling and encouraging family efforts to keep their child in school as long as possible
- EA supports 4 state orphanages throughout the country.

The young are living in a structured living environment and benefit from:
- Social support: a decent place to live, cook and study. They also have access to a financial and material support
- The coverage of their UNI fees
- Educational and workshops support to reinforce their academic knowledge and study habits as well as their personal development.
- Activities and tutoring courses are organized depending on the young people's academic level, needs and wishes.
- Recreational and sportive activities in partnerships with specialized NGO and sports club.
Missions
- Strategy and representation:
- Participate on the representation of Enfants d'Asie Cambodia and the center in meetings or events
- Welcome activities partners in the Center
- Participate on team meeting to improve running of the center
- Develop the alumni network*
Running of the Center Borey Niseth
- Supervise and check quality of the cleaning making sure that common spaces and rooms are always tidy
- Inform the director regarding maintenance needs
- Collect the permission documents of internal and external students and inform the Director
- Ensure the students compliance with EAC and BN rules
- Propose and implement sanctions based on internal rules in coordination with director
- Propose relevant change to director regarding the activities and the running of the center
Logistics and Finance
- Purchase materials for the center when needed / Provide several quotations for purchases
- Support the Center Director to follow-up with beneficiaries (from personal phone, food, health needs, hygiene kits...)
Educational program
- Contribute to the elaboration, organization, and animation of the program*
- Propose, organize, and animate recreational activities for students* that contributes to their learning development
- Offer inside and outside activities to promote the development of Youth (professional orientation, gardening, sports, cultural, manual, soft skills, sustainability...)
- Initiate and develop new programs for the benefit of all the young and organize creative activities to promote talented potentials
General task
- Contribute to animation of meetings and ensure translation when needed
- Replace the director when he/she is absent (holidays, day off)
- Support the interior design and maintenance of bedrooms and common rooms, in order to create more harmonious living spaces
- Identify and report any problem or specific needs of youth to the director
Requirements
- Bachelor in the field of education, child psychology, social work, art or any other relevant subject
- Work experience with children
- Good communication in Khmer and English or French
- Sense of initiative, creative, open and critical-minded
- Strongly motivated to work for disadvantaged children
- High sense of integrity and honesty
- Able to work in an international team
- Available to work on weekends and public holidays
