The Cambodian Center for Human Rights (“CCHR”) is a non-aligned, independent, and non-governmental organization that works to promote and protect democracy and respect for human rights –primarily civil and political rights – throughout the Kingdom of Cambodia, is seeking a dynamic and professional Individual to fill the following position:
Requirements
- At least Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Computer Sciences and Engineering;
- A minimum of 3 year experiences in database development (web-based) and able to show past projects;
- Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Ajax, JQuery, Google Map, Flash;
- Knowledge of Adobe Products (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator etc.);
- Knowledge of Phone App both Android and IOS are advantages;
- Understanding of statistic software programs like SPSS and Google map/Earth functions is an advantage;
- Understanding of Content Management System (CMS) such as Joomla, TYPO3 or Wordpress;
- Knowledge Digital Privacy and Security;
- Knowledge on privacy and security on mobile phone, computer, email communication, internet, social media;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure;
- Good command of English language;
- Be enthusiastic and have initiative idea to make website be user-friendly, attractive to audience;
- Knowledge of Human Rights is preferable; and
- Willing to share knowledge and experiences of work within the team work and work independently.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining CCHR Website in English and Khmer;
- Strengthening the security system for CCHR website and Database Storage;
- Uploading publications, news and others necessary contents on website;
- Supports other CCHR Projects in Developing the website when requires;
- Manage Social Media channels;
- Manage CCHR Mailing System and CCHR File Sharing Server;
- Working closely with IT Officer in maintains Internet, Wireless Router and other IT related issues for CCHR;
- Maintenance Sithi.org and Sub Sithi Portals and CCHR Website (Backup, Security, Stable…);
- Being active and searching Human Rights Information and related information to be up-to date in the website;
- Providing support on Digital Privacy and Security – hand on support and in house training;
- Providing training on Digital Privacy and Security to CCHR’s partner, project’s beneficiaries if required;
- Involve with the process of developing policy/guideline to enhance digital security;
- Provide other IT related tasks and necessary supporting roles to the team; and
- Other tasks as required by the organization.
