Angkor Hospital for children (AHC) is a non-profit organization providing free medical care to children in Siem Reap. AHC is looking for highly motivated individuals who can fulfill the currently vacant position of Account Payable Officer (1 posts). The successful applicant will be a person who is a dedicated to learn and further develop their skills working for a NGO non-profit hospital.
Main Responsibilities
- Account payable control:
- Maintain the accuracy of vendor account
- Maintain account payable transactions and documentation in accordance with accounting principles, an effective policies
- Process payment to supplier including clearing account payable and advance
- Prepare monthly account payable report and vendor advance control
- Other payment control:
- Petty cash holder, including payment, maintain payment records and replenishment
- Staff advance control, including payment, maintain relevant records, and settlement
- Payment of monthly food allowance to staff
- Other control:
- Support in surprised check on inventory and cash count at other petty cash holders
- Filling and documentation
Required skills/ experience
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- At least 2 year of relevant experience.
- Good written and verbal skills, including intermediate English.
- Strong working knowledge of MS excel.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Commitment and dedication to work and compassion for staff and patients.
- Flexibility and willingness to work as part of a team but also be proactive and able to work independently.
Desirable skills / experience:
- Previous experience of using any accounting software.
- Experience of accounting within a non-profit organization.
