The NGO Forum on Cambodia is a membership organization consisting of local and international NGOs. It exists to coordinate and equip members, networks of NGOs, and other civil society organizations to actively engage in policy dialogue, debate, and advocacy with and for poor and vulnerable people in Cambodia. The NGO Forum is seeking qualified Cambodian candidate for the position of Media and Communication Coordinator.
Job Purpose
Under supervision of line manager,
the incumbent oversight the media and communication to enhance the
visibility of the NGO Forum to public and concern stakeholders. The
incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive
design, communication, and outreach with advocacy strategy in order to
raise public awareness for pro-poor benefit.
Qualifications
- Masters/Bachelor degree in Media and Communication, International Relation, English Communication, or related subject
- Professional qualification and in-depth knowledge in design communication for advocacy purpose
- Minimum three years professional work experience with NGOs and Donors Partners in the selected field
- Demonstrate experience in layout, design, social media and communication tools for advocacy for pro-poor policy development and monitoring of implementation
- Demonstrate experience in facilitate and coordinate media group
- Experience of working in team
- Proven ability to manage, delegate, and transfer skill and knowledge to colleagues
- Strong experience in the usage of computers and office software packages for design and communication
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Khmer and English
