Nickol Global Solutions (NGS) is seeking an experienced Grants Manager to provide overall management and execution of the grants under contract (GUC) portfolio of the anticipated United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Cambodia Advancing Youth Leadership activity. The primary purpose of the Advancing Youth Leadership activity is to enhance the capacity and leadership of youth, including those from marginalized groups such as indigenous populations, ethnic minorities, and LGBTQI+, to fully participate in socio-political life, to address local development issues, and to increase civic participation.
This full-time position is contingent upon award (anticipated in June 2023) and open to Cambodian nationals and to expatriates. this position is based in Cambodia.
Duties:
- The Grants Manager will have the overall responsibility to:
- Manage the administration and portfolio of sub-grants and/or sub-contracts to Cambodian civil society organizations, NGOs, youth-led organizations and the private sector supportive of project objectives and activities
- Lead the development process and review of calls for proposals for project grant funding
- Maintain the grant tracking system to ensure timely and correct execution of all grant agreements, assuring full compliance of the funder’s regulations
- Review deliverables and workplans to ensure completion prior to disbursement of funds
- Monitor expenses and submits financial reports
- Act as liaison with grantees to troubleshoot, and provide administrative and operational support as needed
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in finance, accounting, auditing, business administration, or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive management experience in the administration of sub-grants and/or sub-contracts for international development projects
- Previous experience developing and managing large civic engagement focused grants, as well as small GUCs to local organizations across multiple locations
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to determine priorities and meet multiple deadlines
