Child Rights Coalition Cambodia (CRC-Cambodia), formerly the NGO Coalition on the Rights of the Child (NGOCRC), was founded in 1994 as an alliance of 63 national and international non-governmental organizations focused on child rights. The coalition has a long history of working in Cambodia to promote and protect children’s rights, including advocating and ensuring support for the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). CRC-Cambodia currently is looking for potential candidates to be ICT Officer for the full-time staff based in Phnom Penh.
ICT Officer
The ICT Officer is responsible and support on social media, video/article documentation, design and publish the IEC material related to entity work, maintenance and efficient use of IT hardware and software and other systems with regards to database management, system monitoring, user supports and training.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities of the Position:
- IT
maintenance and troubleshooting, including server/internet/Facebook,
email, website, and other internal systems as well as building capacity
of staff to ensure they are able to use the social media.
- Manage, update and write the article, storyboard, quote and designing IEC material to engage the public support and interest of CRC-Cambodia work, include Facebook, website, twitter and LinkedIn platform.
- Produce the video, design and publish other IEC material related to CRC-Cambodia’s work and achievement to update on social media and website as well as sharing with NGO members, include brochure, leaflet, success video, story of change.
- Involve in the review and initiate to develop the guideline and policy to ensure the security is a safety for CRC-Cambodia’s staffs and monitoring the effectiveness of ICT policy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in related field to IT/computer science related subjects.
- At least 2-year experience in the media or IT and working (preferred with the NGO field).
- Knowledge and skills in IT, including managing social media platforms such as website, design, email and develop articles, etc.
- Knowledge about the NGOs’ environment, specifically related to the child rights and women’s rights
- Basic knowledge in managing system, saver, and networks.
- Have a good communication skill.
- Good at developing article and design IEC materials.
- Basic understanding membership coordination, monitoring and Evaluation.
- Computer skills (Microsoft office, design, photoshop, Internet, and email).
- Excellent team spirit and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Initiative, commitment, self-motivation person.
- Keen to learn and constantly develop personal capacities and skills.
- Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Demonstrates honesty and integrity, open-minded.
- Patient, mature and responsible person.
- Hard working and analytical.
- Respect rules and regulations.
- Do not have any history of child abuse and SAY NO TO CHILD ABUSE.
- Good at English and Khmer both in writing and speaking
