At Play Space, we provide the opportunity for children to explore, to play, to learn, to connect, and to dream as they begin their lifelong journey of education. Using the world-renowned Montessori approach to learning, we engage all the senses of young people and provide little explorers opportunities to discover their unique intelligence. We are currently offering programs from preschool to 3rd grade.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Training--provide essential training upon assessing the teaching staff and building and build procedures procedure building to equip them with skills and knowledge for the smooth operation.
- Manage students - monitor and maintain a consistent standard for student behavior, provide activities to involve students in all aspects of early childhood school life, monitor attendance, staff’s needs health, and food services for the children.
- Oversee facilities - supervise the maintenance of all facilities and equipment, identify and plan future facilities needs, develop transportation, procedure, and build safety and emergencies.
- Establish and promote high standards and expectations for the students in terms of discipline, high moral standards, academic excellence and character development
- Plan the lesson, organize the classroom and assess the strengths and weaknesses of each individual student
- Make a weekly plan and create term or final exams
- Work cooperatively with the faculty members, school administration and management to promote team spirit
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly proficient in English in writing, reading, and speaking.
- AMS or AMI credential – preferably AMS.
- Official Transcripts
- At least three years’ experience with international school
- MA degree is preferred or a BA degree in a related field combined with extensive experience.
- Hold of TESOL/TEFL/CELTA
