Position Summary: The Senior Manager, Business Analyst is responsible to provide the expertise on business analysis helping to understand business requirement and translate it into technical requirement. The role is also to perform the suggestion provision toward both business and technical team during analysis phases to get the best solutions possible.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead business analyst team.
- Staff’s management and work delegation.
- Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
- Understanding the concept of project management and resource planning
- Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Gather requirement, performing requirements analyzing provide recommendation or create a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions to business needs.
- Able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Working closely with end user, technical teams, and project members.
- Able to create Functional Specification Document (FSD), support business during Business Requirement Document (BRD) development.
- Propose technological solutions to business requirements.
- Understanding the concept of Project management.
- Able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to understand the customer journey comparing to system process/ business operation.
- Understanding the concept of system development methodologies such as Waterfall, DevOps or Agile methodology and understand other methodology is preferable.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Business Analyzing Degree is a plus.
- Minimum 4-year proven experience in systems, business, and data analysis.
- Experience with operational systems required and business process flow.
- Advanced knowledge of data analysis techniques.
- Experience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Experience leading and developing top- performing teams.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Experience in process modeling, work experience in banking sector is a plus.
- IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) is a plus.
- High motivation and creativity.
- Excellent in English proficiency both verbal and written, and Chinese is a plus.
- Proactive, flexible, and good team player.
- Honesty, commitment, and hard work.
