The Programme Fair Finance Asia (FFA) is a five-year program funded by the Swedish Government through the Swedish Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand. It is a network of civil society organizations in Asia working to ensure that financial institutions operating in Asia are transparent and accountable to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria in their business activities and investment decisions. FFA aspires to reduce inequality in Asia by creating an enabling policy environment for integration of social and environmental considerations among financial institutions (FIs) and regulators in the region, and ensuring that FIs advance the interests and needs of local communities towards their well-being. Currently, FFA is operational at the regional level and in 8 countries across Asia, namely - Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. FFA’s regional Executive Team is stationed in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. FFA is part of the Fair Finance International (FFI) network which operates in 7 other countries globally, apart from the eight FFA countries Job Purpose To lead the implementation of FFA’s MEAL and Social Accountability objectives. The post holder will also support and contribute to the success of the FFA Executive Team in effectively and efficiently implementing the FFA program, ensuring high quality and impactful deliverables. Moreover, the post holder is expected to advise and guide program partners on program quality approaches and strategies and impactful deliverables. The post holder will lead on the implementation of a robust Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Framework for the FFA Programme, in line with the requirements of Oxfam International’s Common Approach to MEAL and Social Accountability (CAMSA) framework and Sida’s donor performance standards. A key part of the role will be capacity building and regular coordination with, and support to the Executive Team based in Phnom Penh, country coalition staff across Asia, program partners and service providers at all levels, as and when required. |
