Role overview
To plan and implement VSO’s exciting new RECOVER project in one of the target provinces in Kampong Thom.
The role will focus on partnership building, stakeholder management in
TVET and agriculture (agri-processing, and vegetable) value chains,
facilitating shared understanding of the wider reaching benefits of the
vocational training (TVET), MSME development through agri-processing,
and horticulture (GAP); facilitating better access to improved inputs,
technology, knowledge and job markets; developing stronger linkages
between market actors to secure the market for smallholder farmers as
well as job demand site. To provide support on day to day operation at
the province. This role requires technical expertise in rural
development, MSME development, TVET, agriculture, and management.
Skills, qualifications and experience
Experiences:
-At least 2-3 years’ experience in rural livelihoods project preferably
skill development initiatives through TVET, MSME development in
agro-processing/vegetable, community development and market
linkage/value chain, management (M&E/workplan development), and
office operation or any relevant experiences.
-Experience in project coordination: planning and implementing activities, monitoring and control
-Experience in engaging stakeholders of different sectors, cultures, and
from community-level primary actors to national-level partners
