1. DESCRIPTION
Techo Startup Center (TSC) has just been transformed into public administrative institution under the guardianship of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) of Cambodia. TSC has its mandate to accelerate startups by leveraging entrepreneurship and innovation capacities through well-supported programs and services. TSC adopts the co-innovation model that we need to build the necessary groundwork for the startups to further innovate and grow. In this regard, TSC has been trusted to build Cambodia Data Exchange Platform (CamDX) to facilitate data exchange between multiple information systems and other platforms. To fulfill the mission, TSC is looking for qualified candidates to join our strong and vibrant team.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES
The candidate should be responsible for the following tasks:
- Participating in the full agile project lifecycle by designing, prototyping, developing, testing, and implementing business applications using the latest tools and technologies.
- Building modern web services architecture to integrate with various services and APIs.
- Refactoring application architecture to improve logging, error handling, security, and performance.
- Coordinating test plans and acceptance criteria.
- Performing testing in coordination with development teams once the product/platform is live
- Working closely with other software developers to speed up the agile software development process.
- Staying current with emerging technologies and trends.
- Carrying out other tasks as assigned by the head of TSC secretariat.
3. QUALIFICATIONS
The candidate should/must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree student in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields. Candidate with a Master's degree in the relevant field is preferable.
- 1 year of experience with back-end and/or platform development.
- Knowledge in MVC, Design Patterns, and Consumption of RESTful web services.
- Experience with a structured database and SQL.
- Having an ability to troubleshoot application problems independently.
- Knowledge of Django, Spring, is an advantage.
- Ability to work with teams and startups.
- Proficiency in Khmer and English.
- Behaving passion, perseverance, innovation and startup spirit.
