Position: Project Coordinator for GBSP
Location: Teuk Phos district of Kampong Chhnang
Salary Range: Negotiable
Position Purpose:
The purpose of Project Coordinator position is to lead the field implementation of Graduation-Based Social Protection project’s activities with all relevant key stakeholders in the assigned area in Teuk Phos and Rovieng districts. With support from Senior Project Manager, Livelihood Technical Specialist and M&E Office, the PC will work closely with 800 HHs of Asset Transfer Group and 800 HHs of Cash Transfer Group to sustain their agricultural livelihood activities at the field. This position will also support the project team to create household graduation pathway/livelihood improvement plan which sequences the activities that need to be implemented and achieved by project participants. Moreover, the position will support field data collection process for UNDP baseline survey with 1,600 households based on questionnaire provided by UNDP.
Major Responsibilities:
- To support the selection and assignment of project beneficiaries into treatment and control groups
- To develop annual plan, budget, and procurement plan that needed for implementation at the assigned target district
- To facilitate with key partners to provide services and technical support to target poor farmers for increasing incomes and profits through horticulture farming, animal raising, small business, etc.
- To assist and coach farmers agriculture production and market linkages
- To coordinate with AP team, Private Business Partners, Government at Provincial, District, Commune, and Village levels to mobilize resources and supports directly to target poor farmers
- Represent the project to attend meetings or forums that organized at commune, district, and provincial levels
- To collect the monitoring and progressing data from each participating household for UNDP’s research team.
Knowledge and Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Agriculture or Agronomy or Rural Development or Economic Development
- At least 2 years experiences in agriculture and livelihood development, community development, and community mobilization
- Experiences in coordination and facilitation on technical training of agriculture and livelihood or income generation to communities
- Familiarity with the principles and the practice of the market development
- Experience in project and program design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and report writing
- Computer literate; Microsoft Word and Excel
- Capacity building and facilitation skills
- Good analytical/problem solving skills and details orientation
- Competent in verbal and written English communication
- Market facilitation and skills in small-and-medium business
- Can work independently as well as work well in a team
- Exhibits gentleness, humbleness, and patience
