ADMIN AND FINANCE ASSISTANT
LOCATION: Tabos Village, Sdau Commune, Sangkom Thmei District, PREAH VIHEAR
BACKGROUND: Our Future Organization (OFO) is working with communities to protect
the forest of Phnom Thnout Phnom Pok Wildlife Sanctuary. We have current funding for project implementation and need staff to support the finance and administration needs of OFO.
Description: The OFO Admin and Finance Assistant is responsible for working with the OFO admin advisor and project managers for administration and finance support as needed. This involves accounting responsibilities such as posting of financial transactions into the accounting system, cashier responsibilities if assigned, preparing banking transactions, and assisting with taxation reporting needs. Additional administration support may involve maintenance of monitoring records for project activities and assistance with any other administrative tasks. As a supportive role, the admin and finance assistant is expected to be flexible and helpful and adjust to whatever role might be required.
Tasks
- Posting of accounting transactions into the online accounting system (Quickbooks online).
- Posting of e-filing reports with the General Department of Taxation
- Posting of NSSF reports to NSSF
- Admin support to ensure OFO is meeting government regulations and requirements and government correspondence and reporting as needed
- Petty Cash management
- Financial reports preparation for donors, GDT, and internal management purposes
- Record keeping for project activities
- Asset and Inventory management
- Any other supportive needs for project activities and administration needs for OFO
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (not necessary but an advantage)
- Finance and Admin experience or aptitude
- Personal time management and organizational skills
- Computer skills (word, excel, email, social media, Quickbooks)
- Enjoys outdoor / field-based work in communities and in the forest
- Works independently and as part of a team
- Creative, flexible, problem solving ability
- Khmer and English speaking, reading and writing, typing
- Accounting knowledge and principles
- Community engagement principles an advantage
- Able to self-learning
- Love of nature and community
- Strong relationship building experience especially with communities
- Positive Attitude and Outlook
- Learning and growth attitude
