Job Summary:The Project Assistant is primarily
responsible in providing support to assigned activities and projects.
The support shall be defined based on the plans of the assigned
activities and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to the implementation of activities of the projects.
- Perform tasks related to administrative needs of the projects and activities;
- Assist in securing and preparing financial supporting documents for the expenses of the activities and projects; and
- Assist in booking of venues and other logistic preparation for the activities.
- Provide support services in the implementation of activities of the projects
- Provide logistic support during the conduct of activities such as provision of transportation refund, per diem and other admin needs of the participants and project staff; and
- Assist in the documentation of activities, safekeeping of materials used in the activities.
- Other duties
- Perform other tasks as maybe required by the direct supervisor or head of the department.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Cambodian national;
- Relevant education in accounting, business management, or project management or any other related field;
- At least 1 year working experience in non-government organizations and other civil society groups
- Ability to communicate effectively with various types of personalities;
- Ability to communicate in spoken and written English language is an advantage;
- Ability to work with teams and can handle different personalities;
- Working knowledge on MS Office applications, graphic software, and other internet applications;
- Sound understanding of Cambodian context in terms of human rights, freedom of expression, access to information, and media landscape;
- Sound understanding of gender and willingness to promote gender equality and women empowerment both within CCIM and through its projects; and
- A passionate and energetic team member with a genuine interest in working to develop independent and professional media, promote human rights and democratic governance.
