To support the rapid growth of our operations, LOLC is recruiting
two (02) Financial Control Officers to be based at Phnom Penh Head
Office.
POSITION:
Financial Control Officers (2 positions)
LOCATION:
Head Office (Phnom Penh,2 positions)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct a regular financial checking at HO and Branch following the financial control manual;
- Implement the internal control tool and checklist to effectively improve branch accounting and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of branch visit/ support plan;
- Strengthen the daily implementation branch accounting;
- Assist the development of guideline/ memo to monitor the daily financial implementation;
- Conduct on-site training branch supporting staffs;
- Follow up with branch on the implementation of action items in the report;
- Review all expense accounts of branch under his/her mission to ensure that are appropriately classified on its nature of transactions;
- Determine and recommend improvements the current workflow branch
- Regularly travel to branch offices to provide support to finance staff at branch offices.
Qualification and Requirements:
- BBA in Accounting/Finance or equivalent;
- At least three years of accounting experience preferably in a MFI;
- Experience in budgeting, financial analysis and assessment of financial systems and procedures;
- Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills;
- Strong computer literacy such as Microsoft Offices (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, etc.), Internet, E-mail, etc.;
- Accuracy, attention to details, initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
- Honest and hardworking with a high ability to work with minimum supervision; and
- Willing and able to regularly travel to the provinces.
