Position: Financial Control Officers (2 positions) -- LOLC

To support the rapid growth of our operations, LOLC is recruiting two (02) Financial Control Officers to be based at Phnom Penh Head Office. 
 
POSITION: Financial Control Officers (2 positions)
LOCATION: Head Office (Phnom Penh,2 positions)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a regular financial checking at HO and Branch following the financial control manual;
  • Implement the internal control tool and checklist to effectively improve branch accounting and accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of branch visit/ support plan;
  • Strengthen the daily implementation branch accounting;
  • Assist the development of guideline/ memo to monitor the daily financial implementation;
  • Conduct on-site training branch supporting staffs;
  • Follow up with branch on the implementation of action items in the report;
  • Review all expense accounts of branch under his/her mission to ensure that are appropriately classified on its nature of transactions;
  • Determine and recommend improvements the current workflow branch
  • Regularly travel to branch offices to provide support to finance staff at branch offices.
Qualification and Requirements:
  1. BBA in Accounting/Finance or equivalent;
  2. At least three years of accounting experience preferably in a MFI;
  3. Experience in budgeting, financial analysis and assessment of financial systems and procedures;
  4. Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills;
  5. Strong computer literacy such as Microsoft Offices (Ms. Word, Ms. Excel, etc.), Internet, E-mail, etc.;
  6. Accuracy, attention to details, initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
  7. Honest and hardworking with a high ability to work with minimum supervision; and
  8. Willing and able to regularly travel to the provinces.
