To support this development, CCF is currently looking for a dynamic and exciting candidate to fill the position of Grants Coordinator.
About “Grants Coordinator”
Reporting to the Grants Manager, this position is responsible for internal coordination and communication in regards to production of report on active grant and donor projects. This will involve a systematic approach to controlling the schedule and administrative functions for generating feedback and analysis to donors. The role will liaise with multiple internal personnel in gathering and collating all required data, upholding strict deadlines and content criteria. The role will mainly assist in the tracking of existing benefactors and donation streams with some support for CCF’s global fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
REPORT WRITING RELATED TO CURRENT GRANTS:
- Work in a highly systematic way to generate evaluation reports for existing benefactors in regards to the impact of their donations;
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to gather appropriate data to enable quality report writing on current grants;
- Manage various data bases to ensure data integrity;
- Understand the CCF business and build relationships with internal colleagues so that reports can be brought to life with compelling personal stories as well as hard data.
- Contribute to successful teamwork, communicating and collaborating on all projects;
- Work collaboratively with internal departments on the analysis and evaluation of current knowledge management systems;
- Generate ideas, justifications, and recommendations for potential adjustments to key milestones and program objectives and measures where required;
- Develop principle foundations for donor related evidence gathering and analysis
Qualifications
- Degree in appropriate tertiary qualifications in relevant fields
- SUCCESSFUL GRANT WRITING EXPERTISE: Demonstrated ability to source & research opportunities, and write successful grant applications and proposals to meet quantifiable targets;
- STRATEGIC THINKING: Able to work conceptually, envisage possibilities, assess potential astutely and link work to CCF sustainability objectives;
- OUTCOME FOCUSSED: Demonstrated ability to initiate and self-manage, bringing a creative, outcome focussed approach to the role. Highly accountable;
- ORAL AND WRITTEN ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Highly competent with an appropriate level of IT skills to enable the timely production of quality reports and proposals.
- Three years’ experience in grant management or reporting.
- HIGHLY ORGANISED AND SYSTEMATIC – Demonstrated ability to prioritise and coordinate productive liaison with multiple stakeholders and successfully manage all aspects of the grants process, dealing with conflicting deadlines and priorities. Attention to detail to enable ongoing management of data integrity;
- SOUND ANALYSIS: Sound skill in interpreting complex data into comprehensive narrative that could be easily understood by donors;
- STRONG RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT SKILLS: Appreciates diversity and able to build and manage relationships and work harmoniously with internal stakeholders at all levels and backgrounds, able to be assertive when needed.
- An energetic self-starter with resilience, fast pace, interpersonal skills;
- Ability to be flexible in the face of changing priorities while maintaining a sense of humor when dealing with difficult situations.
