Position: Fund Raising Technical Advisor -- GNC


Job Announcement

Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country office of Good Neighbors International working in 37 countries in the world. GNC is implementing long-term development program focusing on sponsorship, child protection, education, health, WASH, income generation & partnership building and advocacy in 9 Community Development Programs in 5 provinces of Cambodia; and we are expanding more programs to other provinces to meet our rapid growth. GNC is now working with key sustainability partners and relevant department of government and NGOs to promote positive impact to vulnerable people, especially children. We are inviting motivated and qualified candidates to join our dynamic team for the following positions:

Fund Raising Technical Advisor for one year employment contract, 1 position based in head office, Phnom Penh.
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and other benefits such as 13th month salary, provident fund, health and accident insurance for 24 hours and phone card allowance. 

  • To facilitate network building between GNC and other Organizations to increase more chance for grant seeking access.
  • To assist GNC to join consortium with other Organization for some similar purpose of program development.
  • To support Planning & Communication Dpt (PCD) on proposal writings for either internal or external funding sources.
  • To support case-writing through working closely with PCD team to collect good cases from CDPs to write and share publicly.
  • To provide trainings on fund raising, effective case writing, concept development, management, and other important subjects agreed by GNC senior management team (SMT).
  • To assist survey for GNC operation evaluation in order to pin point the track we are in whether it is right or wrong.
  • To help check and revise some guidelines which have been used by GNC in order to update or improve.
  • To give specifically advice activity implementation in sectors like Sponsorship, Education, Health, WASH, Income Generation, Advocacy and Networking.
  • To train or advise on how to produce good movie clip of GNC program operation, which can attract to GNC stakeholders or donors.
  • To manage grant information checking to see whether it matches with GNC activities or not in order to prepare proposals for it.
  • To conduct field visit to GNC CDPs in either Phnom Penh or provinces in order to learn, survey and to find a potential project for obtaining a fund.
  • To give advices for improving GNC and Good Solar Innovation Homepage to be more attractive.
  • Other tasks as requested by SMT.
  1. English Native Speaker
  2. Good experience in fund raising, proposal writing and knowledge of modern funding trends.
  3. Good experience in project design, implementation, monitoring & evaluation.
  4. Understanding clearly about the concept of community development in context of developing countries.
  5. Good analytical, research and report writing skills.
  6. High commitment in support for the vulnerable.
  7. Good at team building
  8. Capacity building skill in terms of fundraising if possible.
  9. Modern technology knowledge
  10. Working extra hours for some urgent requirement.
