Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country office of Good Neighbors International working in 37 countries in the world. GNC is implementing long-term development program focusing on sponsorship, child protection, education, health, WASH, income generation & partnership building and advocacy in 9 Community Development Programs in 5 provinces of Cambodia; and we are expanding more programs to other provinces to meet our rapid growth. GNC is now working with key sustainability partners and relevant department of government and NGOs to promote positive impact to vulnerable people, especially children. We are inviting motivated and qualified candidates to join our dynamic team for the following positions:
Senior Training & Development Officer (STDO), 1 position based in head office, Phnom Penh
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and other benefits such as 13th month salary, provident fund, health and accident insurance for 24 hours and phone card allowance.
Job Summary: To provide technical support to Community Development Program (CDP) staffs in facilitation, transformational development, partnership, empowerment and community mobilization principles, tools, and processes.

Job Summary: To provide technical support to Community Development Program (CDP) staffs in facilitation, transformational development, partnership, empowerment and community mobilization principles, tools, and processes.
Responsibilities:
- To prepare annual Training Need Assessment (TNA).
- To develop training manual/curriculum/modules/sessions from the TNA.
- To facilitate training and processes of community empowerment, local partnering, community mobilization, management leadership, facilitation skill, transformational development, self-capacity assessment, Project Cycle Management etc.
- To conduct field coaching support after staff training provided.
- To monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with supervisor.
- To facilitate and coordinate GNC’s learning events and reflection.
- To develop tools, toolkit and guidelines regarding staff capacity building that are integrated into CDP processes.
- To enable the learning culture within the GNC to disseminates among the CDPs and partners.
- To facilitate and coordinate best practices, case studies, most significant changes and other learning events for website updates.
- To lead, advise and evaluate the transforming the most vulnerable families to be model in the target CDPs.
- To participate in the research of new Community Development Program (CDP) using PAP and others tools.
- To advise program as necessary in order to adapt to the changes occurring in the Community Development Program.
- Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Has good knowledge in Biblical and a Christian person is encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor degree of Community Development or related fields
- At least 3-year experience in facilitating training and working in community development field.
- Good presentation, facilitation, analytical and coaching skills.
- Good interpersonal communication skill and ability to work closely and supportively within a team and be a fast learner.
- Demonstrate knowledge of development theory, transformational development, community-based-development models, approaches and issues.
- Good written and spoken English and Khmer
- Good computer and typing skills (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
