About “Physical Education Teacher”
Physical education (PE) teacher plays important role to organize games that promote physical activity and to develop a physical development among children. PE teacher must adjust his/her curricula to adapt to children with different physical abilities.
Besides being knowledgeable about an activity, they need to be able to communicate and demonstrate it properly. PE teacher must be able to observe all their students and maintain discipline within the class. In addition, this position is also responsible for checking and following up students’ daily attendance, dealing with students’ misbehavior problems. This teacher is required to work from Monday to Saturday and has to make a good cooperation with all of our staff and respect the core values, rules, and policies of our CCF.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare lessons in advance in collaboration with colleagues and ensure that learning is kept within curriculum target
- Adapt Physical Education curriculum to individual student need and teach Physical Education effectively within CCF curriculum to all students PT, TA, SBC, BB, and TRA
- Promote, coordinate, and participate in sport activities throughout the school year of all CCF facilities
- Assess current skills and fitness levels of the student and carry out assessment procedures and marking policies as outlined and organized by CCF and organize PE/Sport workshops for staff and students when appropriate
- Record and report on the development and progress of children and evaluates each pupil’s growth in physical skills, knowledge, and contribution in team sports.
- Supervises pupils in out-of-classroom activities during the assigned work day
- Check students’ attendance and report the reasons to education officer
- Ensure that any valuable materials are kept safely and securely at the Centre (sport materials, education materials and CCF materials) and response for changing/giving out sport materials to students and ensure that the sport materials for students are always kept in stock
- Operate safely within the workplace and maintain a high standard of practice and promote and safeguard the welfare of the children that fall under your responsibility.
- Make a monthly report with regard to the teacher own teaching progress (eg. student issues, your achievements, your suggestions, future planning etc.)
- Attend CCF and other school meeting and In Service Training as and when required
- Undertake any tasks assigned, Education Officer or School Manager
Requirements:
- 2 year of working experience in related filed
- Degree in Physical pedagogy or equivalent degree
- Knowledge about the physical conditions and needs of students between 6 and 18 years old
- Ability to inspire children with an enthusiasm for learning
- Good communication skills in Khmer and English
- Good Interpersonal and communicational skills
- Strong in administrative skill and good in problems solving skills
- Enthusiasm for sports and Commitment to personal health and physical fitness
- Strong background working with children’s context.
- Working time: Monday-Saturday
Remunerations
CCF provides successful candidates a competitive salary based on job and potential.
