Good Neighbors Cambodia (GNC) is the field country office of Good Neighbors International working in 37 countries in the world. Good Neighbors Cambodia is implementing long term integrated projects, more than 10 years, focusing on sponsorship, education, health, water & sanitation, income generation & partnership building in some provinces of Cambodia; and we are expanding more projects to other provinces to meet our rapid growth. We are seeking more qualified candidates to join our dynamic team for the following positions:
Senior Coordinator for Income Generation Program – 1 position based in head office, Phnom Penh
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary and other benefits such as 13th month salary, provident fund, health and accident insurance for 24 hours and phone card allowance.
Job Summary: The position holder will also be responsible for overseeing the management of all Income Generation Programs (IGP) and to advice and support Senior Management Team with income generation aspects of the responsibilities.
To assist Operation Department Manager in IGP’s planning, budgeting implementing, monitoring and reporting in collaboration with Community Development Project (CDP) through strong partnership, empowerment and ownership for sustainable development within the communities.
To provide technical and training supports on Market for the poor (M4), Agriculture Cooperatives (AC), IGPs, MED, Local Economic Development (LED) and Value Chain to GNC’s projects and CDPs staff in so that they are able to use those skills for community Development

Responsibilities:
- Provide direction, expertise, guidance, management and leadership on all income generation activities to staffs (technical, CDP staff and manager). Create a new culture and joined up project model development for income generation program.
- To develop strategy, income generation and revolving fund guidelines, tools, project models and new initiatives of Good Neighbors Cambodia in sustainable manner.
- Conduct a feasibility study of a Revolving Fund transition to rural credit operator/Micro-Finance Institution (MFI).
- To develop relevant governance policies and procedures, marketing and business plan, reviewing and improving financial, controlling and risk management tools, and reporting procedures.
- To develop and strengthen Income Generation Information Management System of GNC.
To manage all Income Generation Programs to ensure achievement of quality results as committed in the project design. - To identify appropriate options and market assessment for IGPs in the CDPs’ sites.
- To lead in training, orientation and workshop related to Agriculture Cooperative, IG, MED, LED, Entrepreneurship, marketing, Value Chain and business analysis and others.
- To conduct regular field visits to gather first-hand information on the quantitative and qualitative aspects of progress of implementation and results.
- To conduct regular IGP workshop, CDC Action Learning Network and reflections regarding IGP to the CDPs staff and relevant departments.
- To review and recommend request, proposal and others for IGP implementations.
- To conduct regular monitoring, coaching and evaluation of IGP implementations in the CDPs.
To consolidate and produce IGP reports (MoR, annual data collection, monitoring report) to demonstrate IGP’s outcomes to senior management team and stakeholders. - To build network with private and public sectors, INGOs/NGOs and other MFIs and banks for benefit of IGP, agriculture cooperative, market based approach, community social enterprise.
- Other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Requirement
- Master Degree in Economic Development, Business Management or related field.
- 7-year experience in Income Generation Program. Knowledge of the regulatory framework of financial sector (banking and MFIs).
- 3-year experience in management team member in the financial sector.
- Experience in managing and administering operations of financial institutions at an executive level is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability in long-term strategic planning and business plan development
- Extensive experience in setting up corporate governance structures for financial institutions
- Experience in developing
- Strong leadership, management, networking, initiative and coordination skills.
- Strongly analytical and report writing skills.
- Demonstrate teamwork g and installing credit operation, risk management policies and procedures and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Khmer
