Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) or For a Child’s Smile is a non-profit organization and founded by Christian and Marie-France des Pallières, was established since 1995 in Cambodia. PSE’s mission is to help the most marginalised and debrided children escape from destitution and lead them to decent, skilled and well remunerated jobs. PSE has six main programmes adapted to the needs of the children, those programmes include: food, health, protection, education and schooling, vocational training, and helping families. PSE employs more than 600 employees and provides help to more than 6,500 children and 3000 families. We are operating in Phnom Penh, Sihanouk Ville and Siem Reap.  We are looking for qualified candidates for the positions below.

Job holder reports to:    IT Director

Purpose of the Job:
  • IT assets purchase, inventory and follow-up
  • IT assets maintenance
  • IT hardware supports
  • Responsible for administrative duties within the IT procurement and inventory management function.
  • Maintains records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software.
  • Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking.
  • Tracks quality throughout the product lifetime.

Dimension/Scope of job
The incumbent will assist IT director in building and monitor department budget. S/he will not manage any subordinates.

Main Responsibilities
A. IT Assets purchase, inventory and follow-up
  • Prepare purchase orders according to budget plans
  • Manage and keep up to date the IT Assets inventory
  • Tag, register and deploy new IT equipment
B. IT assets maintenance
  • Ensure assets are maintained, repaired and disposed of, in-line with company policies 
  • Supervise the maintenance workspace and minor repairs (cleaning, standard parts replacement, etc.)
  • Prepare IT equipment to be repaired by external companies
C. Help Desk IT Support
  • Assist PSE end-users for specific issues they could face
D. Management
  • Detail planning of purchase
  • Assist his manager to build and follow-up IT budget

Problem Solving and Decision Making:
  • Development of internal Controlling system for budget/financial monitoring, inventories and recommend to IT Director to solve any issues related to budget expense to align with PSE’s administrative and finance policies
Communications & Relationship:
  • Maintain good relations with technical partners and suppliers
  • Efficiently manage demands from PSE departments
  • Inform and report regularly and efficiently to immediate manager through regular meetings, reports, emails and informal communication

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

  • University degree in Computer Science
  • 2 years of experience in a similar field
  • Up-to-date knowledge of hardware products
  • Good systems skills, specifically Microsoft Excel (essential)
  • English (mandatory, speaking, writing), Khmer.
