XminusY supports social movements, actiongroups and changemakers

XminY believes in the power of people to be the start of change themselves. Every great social transformation starts with brave individuals who take the first steps along the road to change. These are ordinary people who stand up in their communities, encourage bystanders and work together with them in the struggle for a fair, just, sustainable and tolerant world.

XminusY supports social movements, actiongroups and changemakers who are fighting for a fair, democratic, sustainable and tolerant world. Projects that are supported by XminusY can take place on a broad variety of topics. But more important then the topic, is that the people involved take action themselves to change their own society.

Actions supported by XminusY are demonstrations, occupations, direct-action and other creative forms to change the world. Below you can find the criteria for support and the kind of costs we fund. Please reed them carefully! It would be a waste of your time if you put a lot of effort in your application while it doesn't matches the criteria at all.

Applications for financial support can be admitted by the form below. Next to that, it's also possible to send it by mail or encrypted email. An application needs to have background information, concrete data, your planned activities and a detailed budget. The form below guides you through this process in just three easy steps. Completely filled-in applications will speedup the decision-process, but it will take between 1 and 2 months anyway. It's possible to communicate (in writing) with XminusY in Dutch, English, France, German, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Italian and Arabic.
