Parkson is a member of the international conglomerate, Lion Group ( Today it has internal operations all over the world. The group has an annual turnover of approximately US$4.7 billion with over 26,100 staff all over the world. Parkson store in Malaysia started in 1987 and it has grown steadily to become the largest department store chain in Malaysia. It has over 125 department stores in Asia Countries. And now Parkson will be launching its first department store in Cambodia at the late of 2016 and is seeking the following talented candidates for serving our expansion plan. Be responsible for (1) Security activities, (2) rules and regulations, (3) Customer service, (4) house keeping, and (5) staff’s productivity and efficiency.


1.    Security activities
  • Be responsible for overall security measurement arrangement and deployment of store to prevent loss of company premises, properties, pilferages, theft and robbery.
  • Plan, develop and implement security plan and department’s goals.
  • Report periodically as required.
  • Ensure fire-fighting, camera and EAS systems and security equipments are in good condition.
  • Investigate security breaches, fraud or any other misconduct. Assist with disciplinary and legal matters with such breaches as necessary.
  • Be responsible for designing and implementing safety measurement guidelines for handling emergency situations. Train and briefing staff how to handle emergency situations.
  • Arrange, assign security officer for money delivery to banks.
  • Be responsible for overall Valet services.
  • Cooperate closely with local police, fire-fighting office, Bureau of frequency control.
Requirements: No sign of theft and intrusion, security plan, department’s goals are met with management requirement, submit reports on time. Fire-fighting, camera and EAS systems and security equipments are well-maintained and ready to use. Staffs are well trained and have deep understanding of security guidelines and manual in handling emergency situations. Money delivery is on time and safe. Valet services are run smoothly, efficiently.

2.    Rules and Regulations
  • Follow all the company’s policies, rules and regulations.
  • Requirements: execute the company’s policies, rules and regulations.
3.    House Keeping
  • Maintain and check procedures on cleanliness of security equipments and security records and house keeping duties in the department.
Requirements: Cleanliness and orderliness are well maintained.

4.    Management
  • Ensure efficient sufficient number of staff on duties.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staffs engaged in security activities.
  • Communicate clearly and directly with staffs concerning performance, expectations, productivity, and accountability.
  • Regularly train, develop and motivate subordinates in daily works:
  • Appraise staff’s performance and handle staff’s grievances and complains from internal and external customers.
Requirements: Efficient manpower on duty, staffs are competent in security services. Appraisal result is evaluated accurately, fair with staff’s performance. Staff’s grievances are solved within the competence. Staff turnover is at minimum level.

5.    Other duties
Other tasks or responsibilities as assigned by Store Manager,

  1. 25 years old or older
  2. Graduated university or equivalent.
  3. Have professional certificate in security services.
  4. Be able to work at shift
  5. At least 2 years experience at management level in security service.
  6. Good health.
  7. Service orientation: Actively looking for ways to help people, develop services.
  8. Deeply understanding of security information technology.
  9. Leadership: Acting leadership by example.
  10. Persuasion: Ability to persuade others in specific situations.
  11. Language skills: Ability to read, analyze technical procedures and governmental regulation. Ability to write reports and procedure manual. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customer and general public.
  12. English ability: Fluency.
  13. Reasoning ability: Ability to definite problems. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with difficult situations.
  14. Acts with Integrity: Demonstrates responsible and honest behavior in all Parkson roles, tasks, and responsibilities
