PUDATION: 40 days, between October and November 2016
REMUNERATION: US$20/ day

About the Australian Alumni Association of Cambodia (AAA-C) The Australian Alumni Association of Cambodia (AAA-C) is a non-profit and non-political
association for all Cambodians who have studied at Australian tertiary or vocational institutions. The AAA-C has around 600 members (past and present) from diverse professional backgrounds including government officials, business people, academics, researchers and individuals working in NGOs. The AAA-C is planning its annual flagship event in late November 2016: Australian Alumni Gala Dinner. This event is expected to welcome around 250 participants of the alumni, public officials, and private partners. Thus, AAA-C is looking for one (1) Event Support Officer, for 40 working days, to support various aspects leading up to the successful organization of the event. The Event Support Officer is expected to work closely with AAA-C Secretariat and report to the Executive Director.
Role of the Event Support Officer:
- Coordinate invitation of all guests and participants;
- Support in developing promotional materials for the event;
- Support the planning and organizing of the event;
- Support sponsorship campaign for the event;
- Support social communication and promotion of the event;
- Support logistic arrangement for the event;
- Take a supportive role as an organizer during the event.
Criteria and desirable qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, plus 3-5 years progressively responsible experience;
- Excellent communications and marketing skills;
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills and good attentions to details;
- Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and graphic design programs, Google Form
- Experience in social media tools such as Facebook, YouTube, etc.
