Entrepreneurs with the Potential
to Impact Cambodia. If you are an epic entrepreneur with a business idea
or start-up which uses technology to have a positive impact on society
or the environment, EPIC is for you.
EPIC is a 1 year program
which supports aspiring entrepreneurs and start-ups to launch and grow
their businesses. Partnering with Development Innovations, this unique
program will be the first in Cambodia to invest $20,000 in prototyping
budgets, consulting, workspace and stipends in 5 outstanding social
start-ups.
10 teams will be selected for Incubation. Starting mid-October, this
will feature 8 weeks of tailored workshops, bootcamps and mentor days.
Teams will pitch their ideas at a Demo Day, where 5 teams will then be selected for Acceleration.
From
January 2017, 5 teams will receive 36 weeks of tailored business
mentoring to accelerate their start-ups. Investment of $20,000 will
include funds for rapid prototyping, stipends, workspace and
consultation.
Working from Impact Hub, teams will have access to a wide network, support from a range of cross-sector mentors and matching will potential investors.
Acceleration will end with a final Demo Day, where the teams will pitch their start-ups to an audience of potential investors and grant-givers. However, this will not be the end, as Impact Hub will continue to collaborate with the teams to grow and scale their impact!
