JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The Department of Drugs and Food/Essential Drug Bureau (DDF/EDB) has applied and successfully qualified for Global Fund (GF) grant for Single Stream of Funding (NFM) New Funding Model under UNOPS Cambodia for the containment of malaria resistant parasites in malaria endemic provinces in Cambodia. A large part of DDF/EDB work plan under the New Funding Model consists of activities that are related to assuring the quality and efficacy of essential medicines, with a particular focus on the long-term safety of the new Artemisinin Combination Therapy (ACTs) to patients.
DDF is seeking the services of qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions. Detailed position descriptions are is available below.

The Department of
Drugs and Food/Essential Drug Bureau (DDF/EDB) has applied and successfully
qualified for Global Fund (GF) grant for New Funding Model (NFM) under the
UNOPS Cambodia for the containment of malaria resistant parasites in malaria
endemic provinces in Cambodia. A large part of Department of Drugs and
Food/Essential Drug Bureau (DDF/EDB) work plan under the SSF Malaria Grant
Phase II consists of activities that are related to assuring the quality and
efficacy of essential medicines, with a particular focus on the long term
safety of the new Artemisinin Combination Therapy (ACTs) to patients.
To achieve the goal
and purpose of this project, the DDF/EDB now requires the services of a
qualified and experienced Data Manager/Pharmacist to support the development
and implementation of suitable mechanisms for the detection, assessment,
understanding and prevention of adverse effects or any other drug-related
problem and primarily be responsible for data management of reported Adverse
Drug Reactions (ADRs).
With the support of
other staff and under the direct guidance and supervision of the DDF Director,
the Data collection Pharmacist shall have the following tasks:
