Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Program Officer

The Program
The Cambodia Ending Violence Against Women (EVAW) Program is a multi-year investment funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs (DFAT) working with the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) through the Ministry of Women’s Affairs (MOWA) to reduce violence against women. The goal of the EVAW program is ‘sustained reduction in violence against women in Cambodia.
The Position
This role will focus on developing and maintain strong relationships with national stakeholders that support the effective implementation of the DFAT EVAW program in Cambodia. This includes MOWA, Implementing Partners, other Ministries and civil society. The position will support the Program Manager to revise and review achievement of results and milestones of the EVAW program at regular intervals to ensure consistency and coherence with the agreed Performance Assessment Framework.
The Person
The person we are looking for will have a post-graduate qualification in social science, gender, development studies, or other related disciplines, with at least two years of experience in development related work. The ideal candidate will have experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects. Demonstrated effective working relationships with government, particularly MOWA and civil society partners coupled with a strong understanding of cultural and socio political conditions affecting women in Cambodia, would be an advantage. Proven problem solving skills in complex operating environments, strong written and verbal communication skills as well as fluency in written and spoken English and Khmer are essential for this role.
