Khmer Creations Jewellery Studio (KC) is an established social enterprise in Phnom Penh. We design, manufacture, and sell contemporary fashion jewellery to the western market both in Cambodia and for export internationally. Khmer Creations envisions a Cambodian society where women are socially and economically independent and live without fear, violence and exploitation. Khmer Creations provides skills training and employment in high quality handicraft production, in accordance with fair trade principles, to at-risk and vulnerable Cambodian women. KC is seeking for candidate to fill in the position below:
Accountant (Part time– 18hrs per week - $120 per month, $140 after probation)

- Record all accounting transactions into accounting system (QuickBooks and Excel), ensuring transactions are recorded in the accounting system correctly
- Monitor revenues and expenditures
- Manage and record petty cash for cash purchases such as fuel, market purchases, office supplies, etc
- Prepare and send invoices for customers
- Prepare reimbursement billings and track receivables
- Prepare payment for suppliers
- Calculate and prepare salaries monthly
- Reconcile monthly accounts
- Work with Managing Director to negotiate accounting terms and conditions with suppliers and customers
- Develop and prepare monthly financial reports to Managing Director
- Make wire transfers and funds transfers when required
- Prepare annual and mid-year budgets
- Fiscal year-end and fixed asset counting
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare clear and accurate reports for external and operational auditing uses
- Perform other duties as needed (for example: Purchase materials at local markets, assist with warehouse and stock management, production in spare time)
Requirement
- Accounting experience / qualification / Bachelor Degree
- 1yrs + of using QuickBooks as an accountant
- Experience managing P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
- Strong excel skills
- Spoken and written English
- Hard working
- Honest
