RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
The Department of Media and Communication (DMC) of the Royal University of Phnom Penh is the Cambodia’s first and premier training institution for undergraduates seeking careers and expertise in mass media, journalism and communication. Fixed in a philosophy that a university is more than just a place where students learn and teachers teach, but a place to create and share new knowledge, the department is now seeking for a qualified national Research Associate to fulfill the following duties:
- conduct regular performance evaluations;
- offer supports to principal research trainers and research training;
- coordinate year-4 research projects, and research consultations;
- assist and contribute to the annual publication of the Cambodia Communication Review (CCR); and
- support other research-related tasks initiated by the department.
Essential requirements
- master’s degree in related fields, or a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Media and Communication;
- prior experiences as a research associate, researcher, or research trainer;
- excellent English and good computer skills for office work; and
- ability to work in team.
Working Hours and Location
From 7:30 – 11:30 a.m. & 2:00 – 5:30 p.m., Mondays thru Fridays and Saturdays’ morning, at the Department of Media and Communication, Royal University of Phnom Penh
