Project Manager for Sewing Workshop -- PSE

Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE)  is a non-profit organization, established in Cambodia in 1995, working to provide food, shelter, medical care, general education and vocational training to children needing support, e.g. underprivileged children; maltreated children; children living in poverty and children without any formal education. PSE has more than 600 employees and provides help to more than 6,500 children in Phnom Penh, Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap. PSE is seeking competitive and capable candidates to fill 01 positions of Project Manager for Sewing Workshop (Full-Time) based in Phnom Penh.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure the sewing workshop provides good quality uniforms and handicraft to PSE's school, boutique and antennas;
  • Promote, market the product and offer external sewing services to partner companies, private local enterprises, school and the market;
  • Research, develop and maintain relationships with external buyers and to undertake commercial contracts with external clients;
  • Establish partnership with sewing experts and other related NGOs, and participate in relevant workshops to improve the sewing skills of our tailors;
  • Analyze and oversee the sewing project's risk and opportunities;
  • Create, develop and ensure the PSE's sewing activities to extend the social outreach of the project;
  • Ensure the expense and revenue generated are in line with the projected budget;
  • Support the production manager in setting up production planning;
  • Follow up bidding process and other related recruitment processes;
  • Present the challenges and problems within the sewing workshop and make decisions regarding the project's governance under the supervision of the Program Director;
Job Requirements
  • Open to both local and expat;
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in Management, Business Administration or other related fields;
  • At least 3 years working experience in managing sewing project or garment production;
  • IT literate;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English;
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills;
  • Possess the entrepreneurial drive to see vulnerable women succeed;
  • Respect and support the mission and values of PSE.
