Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) is a non-profit organization, established in Cambodia in 1995, working to provide food, shelter, medical care, general education and vocational training to children needing support, e.g. underprivileged children; maltreated children; children living in poverty and children without any formal education. PSE has more than 600 employees and provides help to more than 6,500 children in Phnom Penh, Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap. PSE is seeking competitive and capable candidates to fill 01 positions of Audiovisual Teacher (Part-Time) based in Phnom Penh.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach students in the subject of audiovisual such as film, video clip, or other multimedia programs;
- Prepare lesson plan and teaching materials in line with PSE pedagogy methods;
- Participate in revising the course content if required;
- Design and develop tests, homework and/ or other activities to assess and improve quality of study;
- Control and manage the score report and enter the database system;
- Administer the classroom, discipline and behavior of students and identify the areas to improve;
- Participate in class council meeting and exchange the information of students;
- Write a monthly report to manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, computer science or other related fields;
- Minimum one year teaching experience in audiovisual or others related;
- High ability to learn and understand audiovisual systems/programs;
- Excellent capability of teaching methods;
- IT literate;
- Be able to communicate in English;
- Responsible, autonomous, initiative, flexible and patient;
- Love teaching career to vulnerable students;
- Respect and support the mission and value of PSE.
