Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE) is a non-profit organization, established in Cambodia in 1995, working to provide food, shelter, medical care, general education and vocational training to children needing support, e.g. underprivileged children; maltreated children; children living in poverty and children without any formal education. PSE has more than 600 employees and provides help to more than 6,500 children in Phnom Penh, Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap. PSE is seeking competitive and capable candidates to fill 01 positions of French Instructor (Part-Time) based in Phnom Penh.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver French courses to students of PSE School of Hospitality and Tourism in accordance to the school curriculum;
- Design, prepare and grad worksheet, test, exercises;
- Prepare teaching plans adapted to the skills using more student-centered approach;
- Maintain good learning atmosphere in the class;
- Support and participate in school events and activities
- Enforce classroom's rules and disciplinary action;
- Identify, address and solve the student's issues aroused in the classroom;
- Perform other duties assigned by manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in French Language or other related fields;
- French proficiency level: High Intermediate (B2);
- Relevant teaching experience and pedagogy is preferable;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with interest in teaching;
- Problem solving, punctual and professional;
- Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet & E-mail);
- Respect and support PSE’s values and mission.
