IDP Education (Cambodia) Ltd is part of a global education network that has more than 80 offices in 32 countries.  IDP in Cambodia has multiple business streams including ACE campuses in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, the management of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), provision of study abroad counselling services, scholarship program management, and conference and exhibitions management. IDP is now inviting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant based in Phnom Penh.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Processing purchase requisitions / orders within purchasing authority;
  • Assisting in the development of specifications for equipment, materials, and services to be purchased;
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements;
  • Managing the purchased delivery and distribution process;
  • Maintaining appropriate records to ensure that the procurement process, decisions, and contractual agreements are accurately documented for accountability and audit purposes;
  • Assisting to monitor contract performance, including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages and insurance;
  • Complying with and maintaining knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices;
  • Other administrative tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Key requirements:

  • A university degree in Business Administration or related field;
  • Previous experience is an advantage;
  • Good command of English (both written and spoken);
  • Strong commitment to professional integrity and ethical conduct;
  • A team player who demonstrates patience, flexibility and honesty;
  • Be willing and able to meet tight deadlines and results;
  • A self-starter, who is able to plan and manage his/her own work, takes initiative and strives to meet deadlines;
  • Good organisational ability, interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Be able to work in a multicultural environment.
