Accounting and Finance Instructor (Full-Time) -- PSE

Pour un Sourire d’ Enfant (PSE)  is a non-profit organization, established in Cambodia in 1995, working to provide food, shelter, medical care, general education and vocational training to children needing support, e.g. underprivileged children; maltreated children; children living in poverty and children without any formal education. PSE has more than 600 employees and provides help to more than 6,500 children in Phnom Penh, Preah Sihanouk and Siem Reap. PSE is seeking competitive and capable candidates to fill 01 positions of Accounting and Finance Instructor (Full-Time) based in Phnom Penh.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver training courses on
  • General Accounting;
  • Taxation;
  • Finance;
  • Other related Finance Practices;

• Develop and update training resources and materials in response to the job market needs;
• Prepare teaching plans adapted to the skills using more student-centered approach.
• Design all pedagogic assessments;
• Initiate and develop useful course resources;
• Support and participate actively in school events and activities;
• Join class council to assess students’ performance and behavior;
• Guide students in writing their internship reports and presentations;
• Act a class adviser by educating and consulting the students;
• Perform other duties assigned by manager.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance or other related fields;
• At least one year hands-on experience in Accounting and Finance field;
• Relevant teaching experience and pedagogy is preferable;
• Good command of both spoken and written English;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with interest in teaching;
• Flexible, dynamic and self-motivated;
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet & E-mail);
• Respect and support PSE’s values and mission.
